DIY Giant Ring Pops
/Supplies:
Check the dollar store or Amazon!
2 bowls (dollar store) I found pink, purple, blue, and clear.
pool noodle or foam wreath
plastic plates
e-6000
goodies for inside
wire (optional)
Paint (optional)
hot glue
sharp knife or scissors
How to create the bottom of the ring:
I cut the pool noodles about 24 inches. I taped the pool noodle into a circle shape.
How to make the top of the ring.
Start by placing whatever you want inside the bottom bowl. You can use these giant ring props for an engagement party; in that case, you can leave it empty or fill it with a metallic fringe filler. You also could get remote activity fairy lights and put them inside!
After you have it filled, you will add a little E6000 around the edge. You will place glue dots about every 4-5 inches if you want to be able to open them.
Let the glue dry for about 24 hours. If you are in a hurry, you can add some dots of hot glue to hold it in place while the glue cures. It will be easy to take off the top bowl with just the hot glue though!
Assemble the ring pop
After the ring part has cured, It’s time to assemble the ring pop. I hot glued the pool noodle to the bottom of the plate, and then hot glued AND e6000 the bowl to the top of the plate! The plastic plates I got for the purple ring pop were pretty thin so I did glue 3 plates together to make it a little more sturdy.
